Batelco by Beyon teams up with Procural to expand SME participation

Batelco by Beyon has signed a partnership with Procural, a Bahrain-based e-procurement platform, to accelerate the digital transformation of its procurement operations. 

By integrating Procural's cloud-based sourcing and tendering solution, Batelco will improve operational efficiency, strengthen transparency and governance, and optimize the procurement process, said the company in a statement.

The partnership was signed by Batelco by Beyon Chief Financial Officer Haitham Albalooshi and Procural Co-Founder & Director Fahad Abdulrahman in the presence of Batelco by Beyon CEO Maitham Abdulla, during a meeting held at Beyon Headquarters in Hamala, Bahrain.

The platform will support a more efficient and transparent procurement process, strengthen governance, and expand opportunities for suppliers, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to participate in Batelco's procurement activities, it stated.

On the partnership, Haitham Albalooshi, Chief Financial Officer at Batelco, said: "This partnership reflects our commitment to continuously enhancing the way we work."
