A number of agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed during the Saudi Industry Forum, to support industrial development and  localise technologies.

The forum, which concluded yesterday in Jeddah after three days of panel discussions and specialised meetings, examined the future of Saudi Arabia's industrial sector and the role of innovation and advanced technologies in supporting sustainable industrial development, a Saudi Press Agency (SPA) report said.

Broad participation

The forum drew broad participation from specialists, decision-makers, and investors. It also featured a review of initiatives and programmes aimed at enhancing the industrial sector's competitiveness and empowering Saudi talent, along with discussions of promising investment opportunities across various industrial fields.

At its conclusion, the forum stressed the importance of continuing to develop the industrial environment, stimulating investment and innovation, and strengthening integration among the various entities concerned to support the kingdom's position as a leading regional and global industrial hub.—TradeArabia News Service
