The second edition of the Saudi Industry Forum (SIF) has hosted a series of workshops exploring digital transformation, emerging technologies and sustainable innovation. 

Discussions examined how these advances improve industrial systems and boost efficiency and competitiveness, a Saudi Press Agency (SPA) report said.

Improving production

Several workshops were held on the role of digital technologies in developing communication systems for industrial environments, the contribution of modern technologies to linking industrial operations and systems, and concepts of innovation, sustainability, and manufacturing excellence, and their impact on developing production processes, enhancing the sector’s efficiency, and strengthening its capacity for growth and competitiveness.

The workshops are part of the forum’s accompanying programme, which aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise, showcase the latest solutions and practices, and promote the adoption of technology and innovation in the industrial sector. The programme supports the transition toward a more efficient, sustainable, and competitive industry, contributing to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.—TradeArabia News Service
