FlexEnergy Inc, a clean tech business with the breakthrough solution to create clean energy with near zero emissions from harmful greenhouse gases, has received a boost from a US authority that has modified the Self-Generation Incentive Programme (SGIP) to stimulate the installation of clean and ultra-efficient energy generation technologies. The move will provide FlexEnergy’s customers with a significant incentive through rebates for the purchase of new equipment including the Flex Powerstation and Flex Turbine. The proposed new SGIP will benefit FlexEnergy’s conventional low-emission combined heat and power (CHP) projects, with a significant additional incentive provided for customers using in-state biogas resources. FlexEnergy has developed the environmental system solution, the Flex Powerstation – the world’s cleanest power platform. The Flex is described as the most versatile waste gas destruction and power generator in the world. It is a revolutionary solution that combines a Flex-modified gas turbine with an adaptation of a proprietary thermal oxidiser ("Flexidiser") combined with a unique system architecture and software control algorithms. The Flex turns into oxides gases, especially weak and waste gases previously unusable, to produce clean, green energy.
