Climate Curtains introduced
Goff’s Enterprises Inc has introduced Climate Curtains. Developed from the Original Goff’s Curtain Wall, Climate Curtains are double-paneled vinyl curtain walls lined with Thinsulate Ultra Insulation from 3M to provide flexible, climate control isolation for a variety of applications including freezer and cooler areas, loading docks, food processing lines and warehouse separation.
The unique ability to collapse and slide out of the way when not needed compared to other “stationary” insulated curtains currently in the market allows the end-user the flexibility to move machinery, equipment, and people in and out of temperature-controlled areas.
Insulation tester launched
GAO Instruments has released its Model A0310005 portable digital insulation tester designed for safety testing electric equipment such as transformers, electro-motors, cables, switches, home appliances and insulation materials.
The digital tester features automatic turn-off function and double insulation protection. Model A031005 performs measurements including insulation resistance, continuity, AC/DC voltage and frequency.
Technip, Statoil sign deal
Technip has announced that it has signed an agreement with Statoil ASA for the fabrication and installation of a pipe-in-pipe flowline to support the Marulk field development in the Norwegian Sea.
The pipe-in-pipe flowline involves steel pipes assembly consisting of a standard production pipe surrounded by a so-called carrier pipe. The gap between the carrier and production pipes is filled with an insulation material. As the insulation is protected from the external pressure by the carrier pipe, a high thermal performance material can be used. This technology provides the level of insulation necessary for economical installation and the level of flow assurance needed for effective production in deep and ultra-deep water.
Aldo selects NCFI
Aldo Products Company, a world leader in the innovation of coating products for construction and roofing, has selected NCFI as authorised North American distributor of its new Aldocoat 800 ignition barrier protective coating.
It is a breakthrough interior intumescent coating developed for use over closed-cell and open-cell spray polyurethane foam insulation. The product is a water-based latex.
