

Emerson Process Manageme- a wholly-owned Emerson company offering one of the most innovative and broadest array of process automation solutions, has launched its new office in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with an investment of $4 million.
The new 22,000 sq ft office located in Musaffah Industrial Area accentuates the company’s strong commitment to the Middle East region.
Speaking at the launch, Dave Tredinnick, president of Emerson Process Management Middle East and Africa, said the company had continued to invest across the region in terms of people, facilities and leadership.
“We have experienced tremendous growth across all of our businesses. One of our key growth initiatives is to continue to move our operations closer to our customers, in terms of manufacturing, service and support.”
Other facilities coming
This year the company will be opening other new facilities. They are in Jubail (Saudi Arabia) and Ras Laffan (Qatar).
“The launch of our new Abu Dhabi facility is a great example of our commitment to delivering localised sales, service and engineering to satisfy our customers’ demands for Emerson Process Management solutions. At Emerson we want to be ‘local’ globally.”
Cor Corbeek, general Manager, Emerson Process Management, said the company combined superior products and technology offering its customers industry-specific engineering, consulting, project management and maintenance services.
“The importance of Abu Dhabi as a key growth market, increasing competitiveness within the sector and the need to offer comprehensive sales and after-sales services led to the launch of this enormous wholly-owned facility in Abu Dhabi.”
Emerson Process Management’s new Abu Dhabi facility currently has 40 employees, which is expected to more than quadruple within the next five years. It will serve as a sales office and Flow Service Centre, providing systems staging and integration for process systems and solutions as well as power and water solutions, Rosemount quick ship and repairs, project engineering and services, training and project management solutions.
Growth strategy
Ahmad Nabulsi, managing director of Trizac Abu Dhabi, Emerson Process Management’s local business partner in Abu Dhabi, added, “We have been associated with Emerson Process Management since 1994, responsible for their local distribution and sales. This new facility will go a long way in reassuring customers about the company’s commitment to this market, as well as assist in exploring new business opportunities to further stimulate the phenomenal growth the company has experienced over the past years.”

Emerson Process Management brings comprehensive process management solutions and technologies right to the doorstep of its Gulf clients through established offices in key local markets such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Khobar and Doha, with full sales and service teams in each market.
In addition to this new facility in Abu Dhabi, Emerson Process Management is also partnering with Saudi Fal to establish a manufacturing and repair facility in Jubail and with Dopet in Qatar to establish a facility in Ras Laffan Industrial Area, as part of its expansion and growth strategy for this year.
