Chemipaint lends a touch of elegance at Adnec’s Phase 2 concourse

Universal Paint and Chemical Industries (Chemipaint) has completed work at the prestigious Abu Dhabi Exhibition Centre (Adnec), a project it says grants recognition to its capabilities.

The company recently completed the flooring of parking areas A and B, the new lounges and the main Adnec building.  It supplied and applied 4,000 drums of Chemishield Silk, an anti-carbonation system, and 2,000 drums of Stucco to achieve the desired look – a luxurious and elegant finish. The contract value of the project was Dh6 million ($1.6 million).
“This was a very important project for us and will help further strengthen our presence in the market,” said a company spokesman.
“The selection of Chemipaint products by the designers of this high-profile project reflects their trust on the durability, aesthetics and high quality of our products,” he said.
The project was also very important because it would be visited by large numbers of commercial and trade exhibitors and being part of it would help Chemipaint present itself as a very competent company in manufacturing and contracting, the spokesman added.

Confident of aggressive growth
Having worked with some of the largest developers and acquainted them with the quality of its products, the company says it is confident it will achieve aggressive growth.
Chemipaint has undertaken or is currently involved with several important projects in the UAE including Dubai Maritime City, a residential complex in Fujairah, Qasr Al Sarab Resort and Movenpick Spa and Resort.
Part of the Lebanon-based Chemipaint, the UAE operations began in 2005 in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.
Manufacturing the same product range as the Lebanon plant, Chemipaint UAE’s range includes architectural paints, primers and sealers, varnishes and wood preservatives. Its internal decorative and external texture paints are backed by years of experience and technical expertise.
Chemipaint also manufactures heavy duty industrial maintenance products, such as epoxy systems, two-pack polyurethane paints, thermoplastic acrylic paints, courtyard paints, water proofing products and systems, elastomeric and anti-carbonation paints, chlorinated rubber paints and paint removers.
Continuous investment in research and development programmes had resulted in product improvements and the creation of breakthrough manufacturing technologies, the spokesman said.
“Our commitment to the market is reiterated by continuous product development initiatives and our ever-growing portfolio of projects, whose paint requirements are sufficiently addressed by our range of high-quality products.”
