Albawaba, the Middle East Internet network, has launched a new localised version of its portal. Internet users in 21 Arab countries can now find portals focused on their own country. The new format makes business and news information about each Arab country easy and fast to obtain in both Arabic and English.
"The new format gives users one-click access to all the information and services they need," said Hani Jabsheh of Albawaba, "Now you can find the top links in each category, check e-mail accounts on several different sites, see the latest news and even conduct searches on top international search engines all from one place. The new Albawaba country pages make using the Internet faster and easier than ever before".
Each country contains top links for news and media, business & economy, education & academia, government & politics, travel & tourism, society and culture, sports & recreation, arts & entertainment, guides and references, and Search Engines.
"Albawaba has added many new services for its users, designed to save time and effort in finding all they need on the net. Among these new innovations is the ability to check several e-mail accounts from one place, including Albawaba's own advanced Arabic e-mail system, Hotmail, and others," the company said.
Says Hani Jabsheh: "In the past month traffic to the Albawaba websites has continued to soar, and it is my belief that the new services we are introducing will strengthen this trend even more".
