BRC Weldmesh Gulf has 35 years of experience in the supply and fixing of concrete reinforcement solutions for the construction industry.

“As part of our re-engineering process, we have a designing team that works with French programmes on computers that allow optimisation of the use of straight bars,” a company spokesman said. “This team, on receiving shop drawings from the client, prepares bar-bending schedules and supplies straight as well as deformed re-bars of various shapes and sizes.”
An important product that the company offers is welded wire mesh which it manufactures in its Mina Salman factory. BRC Weldmesh has been making the product since its very inception. The company also supplies special and standard sheets used in the construction of bridge culverts.
“Erecting security fencing has become a benchmark for BRC. We offer special panels manufactured and fabricated in our own workshop,” the spokesman said.
The company offers fencing in chainlink, palisade and welded wire mesh designs and in this connection it has worked on projects related to the Bahrain Defence Force, ports, electricity boards, private villas and a sports stadium.
Elaborating on the company’s production, it said BRC standard or engineered welded wire mesh of different sizes and special drawn wires were among the most innovative products it offered.
Another service it offers is fixing steel on site. Trained steel fixers who are also conversant with civil drawings are available to fix steel and tie them in accordance to requirements.
BRC’s steel products have been used in the construction of bridges, towers, villas and commercial buildings in Bahrain and other GCC states. Some of the landmark projects it was involved with are Lulu Abraj Tower, Durrat Al Bahrain, Almoayed Tower, Bahrain Mall, Sea Star Hotel, Bahrain Financial Harbour, Seef Tower and Hidd Port.
The company was established in 1973 as a joint venture between the AK Almoayed Group of Bahrain and the UK’s Hall Engineering. “At that time, Hall Engineering was the holding company of BRC Group although that has since changed and the holding company is now Acertec Holdings Ltd,” it explained.
