GCC-based Aujan Industries, a beverage and confectionery company, has witnessed a 35 per cent increase in revenues and 30 per cent rise in volume for the first half of this year, said a report.
The company’s sales in the GCC region alone shot up 28 per cent for the first half, during Phase I of its revamp exercise, said the company.
In Phase II, the company has chalked up ambitious plans for expansion in South East Asia, Africa and the CIS.
Iran has topped the list of Aujan’s best performing markets outside the GCC. Iran’s revenue went up 58 per cent while its volume rose 35 per cent against 2007.
Next came Iraq and the Levant which posted 54 per cent revenue and 47 per cent volume increases.
