Areen Enterprises has gained prominence in Oman as a builder of prefabricated structures, having successfully executed contracts for some of the biggest names in the country.

The company is engaged in diversified fields of fabrication and construction which includes prefab structures, portable cabins, civil engineering and building construction as well as the supply of stainless steel, nickel alloys and titanium products. It is also the sole agent in Oman for the Italian company Acciaierie Valbruna SpA, which enables it to offer a complete range of stainless steel reinforcement bars, dowels, rounds, angles, flat products, squares, channels, wires, pipes, tubes and sheets.
The company recently supplied and installed two large prefabricated portable cabin office blocks, one of 2,300 sq m and another of 2,000 sq m for Petroleum Development Oman; prefab cabin offices of 1,300 sq m in Yibal for Gulf Petroleum Services, 600 sq m of prefab offices for the Golf Club Resort & Residential Complex in Seeb and accommodation facilities for 500 employees of Tefken Engineering at Harweel Cluster Phase II for PDO.
It also manufactured and supplied trailer-mounted mobile medical and ablution units for the Diwan of the Royal Court and the Royal Guard of Oman; supplied 3,000 tonnes of stainless steel reinforcement for the Qasr Al Alam Guesthouse project and austenitic stainless steel for Al Khoula Hospital and the Royal Hospital.
At Sohar it built a site office for Douglas OHI, staff accommodation for Oman Shapoorji, office and staff facilities for the Royal Oman Police Coast Guards and various other small office units.

Areen Enterprises holds a Grade 1 registration as a building and civil engineering contractor. The company also specialises in marble work and other trades of high-quality finishes. The company’s facilities include a steel fabrication yard and a timber workshop.
Areen Enterprises offers portacabins in standard sizes of 3.65 m by 12 m but is also open to working on other sizes. Internal layouts are designed according to the customer’s preferences. After years of experience, the company has developed the capability to supply and install prefab structures for commercial or residential requirements. It says it can provide anything from office facilities for as many as a thousand staff to a more modestly sized standard mobile unit.
