Germany’s cargo industry recently voted Emirates SkyCargo the top carrier in the German market.

The Aircargo Performance Study, conducted by German market research institute Emnid studied 240 German air cargo forwarders on 55 leading international cargo airlines operating in Germany.
Emirates SkyCargo topped the chart with 777 points out of 1,000. The result was published by Logistik Inside, a trade publication for the logistics industry in Germany.
“The true honour of this distinction is that we have been named number one by our most important stakeholders, our discerning customers,” says Ram Menen, president of Emirates SkyCargo.
The report also says that with the new generation SkyChain infrastructure, along with exponential growth in its fleet, the airline will be well-positioned to accommodate increasing transport volume. The volume is predicted to triple in the next two decades. In Germany, growth is anticipated at 13 per cent annually.
Emirates’ 91-strong fleet includes 82 wide-bodied passenger jets and nine freighters (three A310-300Fs, five Boeing 747-400Fs and one 747-200F). It is one of the youngest in the skies. Emirates SkyCargo now serves 83 destinations in 57 countries.
