Dnata Cargo owns and operates the Free zone Logistics Centre (FLC) within the Dubai Airport Free Zone (Dafz).

The facility has been granted "Community Service Provider" status by the Dafz Authority and since inauguration in June 1999 has been a tremendous success for Dnata and a valuable business asset to companies establishing themselves at the zone.

Phase I of the 9,000 sq m facility boasts a massive 7,000 sq m of ambient storage and warehousing. Customers of the FLC enjoy direct "air-side" access to and from Dubai International Airport ensuring fast, easy and secure processing of export and/or import consignments to or from storage. A state-of-the-art vault system and temperature controlled facilities add important options to all FLC customers with special requirements.

The FLC, in its additional capacity as a 'satellite cargo terminal', also provides dedicated cargo services to many air charter specialists who maximise use of exclusive cargo operations areas within the facility. Easy access to Dubai's scheduled services make the FLC an ideal transit hub for many regional and international cargo airline operators. On-site Customs Authorities at the FLC enhance cargo and logistics processes and together, with Dnata Cargo teams, ensure a proficient process for all customers using the facility.

The FLC offers full cargo terminal functionality and a comprehensive storage and distribution system to all Dafz customers on their doorsteps. Air cargo shipments can be dispatched or consigned directly to/from the centre further adding to the many benefits already associated with conducting business at the Dafz.

Phase 2, while currently advancing through its planning stages, will meet the increasing demand of the growing Dafz business and airline communities.
