The Dubai-headquartered Libsoma Computer Systems Company will promote products from two international information technology firms at the UAE in Libya exhibition in Tripoli.

The company will showcase highly sophisticated central, personal and portable computers from Acer and new models of ATMs, point-of-sale products and currency exchange systems from ICL.

Although relatively new in the market, Libsoma has gained excellent reputation for supply and support of computer systems and automation of businesses, banks and oil companies, says a spokesman for the company.

Libsoma, which represents leading international manufacturers, has now entered other Arab and African markets. It has concluded agency agreements for the African markets in general and the Libyan market in particular with Acer and ICL.

"Libsoma has sufficient financial and human resources to offer good services and to fulfil its obligations towards its customers. It offers various technical solutions and support on mechanisation, networking and training," says the spokesman.

Libsoma will also highlight a special training programme designed for technical staff of various professional companies. This programme is annually upgraded and can be adjusted to meet the individual requirements of customers, says the spokesman.

Libsoma is a subsidiary of the Libyan Arabian Foreign Investments Company and has been established to specialise in state-of-the-art computers and associated services.
