The Harmony Style 9 range

The new Harmony Style 9 range of 30 mm control and signalling units from Telemecanique, a brand of Schneider Electric, combines enhanced IP66 protection and robust construction with versatility and reliability, making it the ideal choice for every application involving arduous operating conditions, a company statement said.

Featuring modular construction, which allows users to choose simply and conveniently exactly the right pushbutton, switch or indicator lamp to meet their needs, Harmony Style 9 devices make up the only complete range of 30 mm units currently available, and are offered in both metal and plastic versions.
Metal types are well suited to applications in heavy industries such as metalworking, quarrying and shipbuilding, while plastic types are often preferred for inert environments in the food and pharmaceutical sectors.
All indicator lamps and illuminated pushbuttons in the range feature super-bright 100,000-hour life LED lamps, and all pushbutton actuators have a mechanical life of five million operations.  Reliability is therefore maximised, while maintenance requirements are reduced to a minimum.
Contact blocks in the Harmony Style 9 range have a thermal rating of 10A and feature single-screw mounting to reduce assembly time.  For added safety, normally closed contact blocks have a positive-opening feature, and all products in the range feature finger-safe screw-clamp connections.
The new Harmony Style 9 range of control and signalling devices from Telemecanique replaces the obsolete Telemecanique XB2-M and Domino 30 ranges, as well as the Square D 9001T range.
Equally suitable for use in new equipment and in retrofit applications, the range includes standard and illuminated pushbuttons, mushroom-head emergency-stop pushbuttons, selector switches, key-operated switches and pilot lights, as well as joysticks and wobble-stick actuators.
All products in the range conform fully with relevant IEC, UL, and CSA standards, and all carry the CE marking.
