Sigmazam AFD, a new primer launched in the Middle East market by Sigma Paints, is particularly useful for the protection of steel structures, the company says.

It is one of two new products the company introduced, the other one being the anti-bacterial paint Sigmacryl Premium.
Discussing Sigmazam AFD, a Sigma spokesman said: “The fabrication of steel structures is a highly complex matter where the speed of construction is a vital element in the final cost analysis.
“The new Sigmazam AFD primer has been specifically designed to improve productivity through the rapid drying of the coating.”
He listed Sigmazam’s special characteristics as: quick drying; one-coat direct to metal; extended recoatability; excellent corrosion resistance; ease of application and cost effective.
About the other product, Sigmacryl Premium, the spokesman said: “It has been created especially for the safety of people and for ensuring a healthy environment.
“Sigmacryl Premium is an anti-bacterial product. It is the technological solution to break the transmission path of disease by killing microbes on contact. Sigmacryl Premium is certified by independent labs in Europe and the US.
“Ideal for all risk environments and situations where a higher degree of health and hygiene is required such as hospitals, hotels, schools, restaurants, airports, stations and office buildings.
