As one of the biggest stockists of stainless steel sheets and plates, Al-Kafaa Trading Establishment has made a considerable impact on Saudi Arabia’s industry.

Fabricators have been using the stainless steel sheets for making decorative materials for homes, offices and kitchen showcases.
The company’s main warehouse is in Dammam’s Al Khaldia district while another one is located in Riyadh.
Its quality management systems wee assessed and registered by Moody International Certification against the quality assurance standard ISO 9001:2000. The scope of the registration was the sourcing, warehousing and supply of piping class materials for petrochemical, oil and gas industries as well as specialising in stainless steel and aluminium materials.
Al-Kafaa is particularly in demand when it comes to special stainless steel sheets and plates such as duplex or high-alloy materials. “We could be of help to our customers considering our 22 years’ experience, business relationships with known and approved manufacturers and a well-trained and experienced staff,” a company spokesman says.
“We have a wide range of stocks relating to ASTM A240 in grades of 304, 304L, 316, 316L and 310/310S and in several surface finishes (No1, 2B, hairline, mirror and BA) and sizes.
The company normally stocks aluminium alloy 1050 and 3003, but because of its strong business ties to manufacturers, it can make available other grades of aluminium sheets. Sizes it stocks are 4 ft x 8 ft, 4 ft x 10 ft, 4 ft x 12 ft, 1 m x 2 m, 1 m x 3 m and coils.
The company draws its stocks of carbon and stainless steel pipes, both seamless and welded, from internationally recognised manufactures that have gained approvals for their products from important users such as Aramco and Sabic. They also comply with various international standards. “All have test material test certificates and inspections are undertaken regularly by our quality control personnel to ensure that materials received and delivered meet the requirements of industries,” said the spokesman. Al Kafaa’s stainless steel forged fittings have a ratings range from No 150 to 6000 while buttweld fittings in the same material are drawn from schedule 10 to 160.
