Packaging equipment marketed by Falcon
Falcon Packaging Equipment, a division of Falcon Pack formed in 2002 claims it has packaging solutions for virtually every kind of industry.
And just to make sure customers find the right machine, it has developed links with some of the world leaders in their respective fields, displaying their models in what it says is a state-of-the-art showroom in a prominent locality of Sharjah.
Its facilities also include a large warehouse for packaging equipment, consumables and catering products with in-house logistics capabilities.
“We make available products ranging from staple pins to fully automatic wrapping and sealing machines,” says commercial manager Tamer Kabakibo.
Our professional experience and marketing skills give us an edge over our competitors, and our strategic partners are based in Holland, Italy, Spain, Taiwan and other East Asian countries” he adds.
Falcon’s principals include Henkelman of Holland (vacuum machines); Belca SA, Spain (L-sealers and sleeve wrappers); Italdibipack, Italy (shrink tunnels); ILPRA, Italy, (sealing machines & containers); BestPack, Taiwan (stretch wrapper & carton sealer); Extend, Taiwan (carton sealer and pallet wrappers); Ervisa, Spain (POF shrink film) and Quickpack, Thailand (PVC shrink film).
The company also represents Chali, Taiwan (strapping machines); Chie Mei, Taiwan (automatic L-Sealers); King Star, China (impulse sealers & heat sealers); Sambo Tech, Korea (heat sealers); Mainpack, Taiwan (carton staplers & consumables), and Rego, Malaysia, (strapping bands).
“After-sales service is our forte with technical professionals available round-the-clock,” says Kabakibo.
Falcon Pack announced earlier this year it would be installing equipment by the end of 2004 to produce packaging products in foam, paper and plastic,
The company currently manufactures aluminium foils and wraps, aluminium containers and paper products for restricted applications such as cakes. The new line for paper packaging will manufacture paper for wider applications.
The capacity for foam products will be 600 to 700 boxes per day. The equipment for all three lines is being imported from Europe.
Kabakibo said most exports were achieved in aluminium foils and cling films with aluminium containers also selling well. Falcon Pack is a major importer of packaging material, which includes foam and plastic products, which the company now plans to manufacture on its own.
