PFM Packaging Machinery is promoting at Gulf Pack some of its special products, including a multihead weigher, that have already impressed international markets.

An industrial group based in Italy, PFM includes seven companies, namely PFM Packaging Machinery LTD United Kingdom, PFM Corporation USA & Canada and the new PFM Germany together with BG PACK SPA, MBP S.r.l. and SPS Italiana Pack Systems.
Three of the products it will be concentrating on at Gulf Pack are Falcon, Comet and the Multihead Weigher “Easy Clean” (14 heads).
 Falcon is a horizontal flow pack-wrapping machine that produces closed wraps sealed on three sides from a flat reel of heat seal material (pillow-pack style).
 “It is one of the most flexible and versatile machines in the PFM range and perfect for quick and frequent set-up changes,” the company says. Falcon comes with a teleservicing system.
“Comet is the expression of the highest level of PFM technology and design applied to vertical wrappers,” says a company description of the product. “The machine has been designed for high wrapping speed and round-the-clock operation. It is suitable for wrapping granular products and many other products; it is also combined with multihead weighers and volumetric dosing systems.”
As regards the Multihead Weigher “Easy Clean” (14 heads), the company says: “The structure rigidity indirectly improves weigher performances while the use of tubular elements simplifies the sanitising operations.
“The machine body is divided into sections, each extractable, interchangeable and complete with data acquisition hardware.
The IP65 framework/shell enables it to be washed directly with water jets.
The weigher also includes a high-resolution tactile LCD control panel and teleservicing system.
