UAE company Tech Enterprises has formed a distribution partnership with UK-based software company Techtonik

Tech Enterprises, whose offices are at the Dubai Airport Free Zone, will specialise in the supply of software business solutions to system integrators and resellers. Among the products it will promote is activAudit, the first component of Techtonik's new brand actiSuite. The business solution provides management, audit and control functionality in the terminal services environment.

ActivAudit has the ability to track in real time: user logon/logoff, session duration, client IP address, applications used, server connected to and client operating system.

"A major benefit to users is the ability to automate the completion of software returns that describe application usage. These returns will report usage to application providers such as Microsoft in accordance with their service provider licensing model," said Techtonik.

One of Techtonik's existing products is OneApp Density, designed specifically for the PC power user. It provides users with an intuitive Windows interface for viewing, running, extracting, adding, deleting and editing files in archives. Documents and presentations are automatically searched to find the best method of optimising the contents.

Other Techtonik products are OneApp Kruptos, an encryption solution that allows files as well as emails to be encrypted and compressed, and OneApp 4.6, which allows administrators to restrict users' concurrent logins to the thin client domain, allowing them also to remove any users' unwanted disconnected sessions. It also prevents user ID piracy.
