Exporters can now submit online essential documents such as Certificates of Origin, thanks to the creation of a portal by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI).

The portal is in response to the strategic e-government initiative announced last year by General Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE Defence Minister. The new portal offers a range of online services that will enable the Chamber to serve more than 60,000 members faster and more efficiently. Based on the Microsoft platform, the new portal has been realised by DiverseInc, in collaboration with Microsoft Consulting Services, and can be assessed at https://www.dcci.gov.ae/.
