Serck, part of the Unipart Group of companies, has extended its range of services by being the first company in the UAE to introduce vibrasonic cleaning, the latest development in deep cleaning. This specialist technology, which has been imported from the US, offers a more effective and cost-efficient cleaning method than ultrasonic by incorporating a vibrating action into the cleaning process.

This deep-cleaning facility will significantly improve the performance and extend the life-cycle of heat exchanger and cooling equipment, including tubestacks, valve bodies, filter elements, castings, pipework and fabrications. It is particularly beneficial to the marine industry due to the large cleaning tank capacity - 6.75 cubic metres - and the overall dimensions - 3m x 1.5m x 1.5m. This allows large items to be easily immersed, including virtually all charge air coolers.

Operated by experienced personnel, vibrasonic cleaning is available in Sharjah in the UAE. In the UK, it is available at Serck Services Industrial workshops in Newcastle upon Tyne, Paisley and Belfast. The nationwide network of 100 Serck Intertruck branches offers a local assessment and collection service throughout the UK.
