Crown Relocations has opened a new office in Doha, strengthening the company's presence in the Gulf region and the Middle East. The Doha office joins existing offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain.
"Besides better overall coverage by Crown in the Middle East, this new office represents our entry into an important developing market with huge oil reserves and one of the largest natural gas reserves in the world," said Fabrizio Stanig, general manager Crown UAE (based in Dubai).
"Crown Doha's operation will result in a better network and increased synergy in the Persian Gulf and the Middle East, working with our existing offices in the UAE and Bahrain."
Stanig said Crown Qatar offered a complete package of comprehensive household goods services (import and export) and total relocation services to companies in Doha, which although a relatively small city had a large number of expatriate employees.
"Qatar is a high-potential market, as the government has recently announced several major [oil] pipeline initiatives that will result in a significant increase in foreign investment and, of course, imported foreign expertise in the form of expatriates."
Mr. Astrand Salazar, branch manager Crown Doha, said the Doha facility included, besides an administrative office, a 6,000 square foot warehouse storage space and several fully equipped moving vehicles.
"We look forward to future business dealings with Qatar's major oil and natural gas-exporting companies, many of which employ large numbers of expatriates," he said.
Formerly working for Crown China, Salazar brings to Qatar over nine years of relocation industry experience, including two years of general management experience in Vietnam.
