The INMA head office in Dubai

UAE-based Gulf Development & Construction (INMA) LLC, which had modest beginnings in 1972, now markets a list of prominent international brands listed under its product range.

"The company is growing continuously,"an INMA spokesman said.

"Our primary strength has been the ability to sustain the confidence of the principal companies over the several years of our operations – in fact many of them have been associated with INMA from Year One - and this is due to our plain business conduct and simple hard work," the spokesman added.

"From the very beginning, we have diversified our activities with our product mix, and have been serving the industrial manufacturing and handling sector; the construction and building sector; the roads construction sector and the landscaping and gardening sector."

Products of well-known agencies  handled by INMA today are Avant  compact multipurpose loaders and attachments; Alimak construction passenger and materials hoists; AL-Vac  vacuum lifting solutions;  Atlas Copco air compressors, construction and  demolition tools including rock drills, diesel gensets and pneumatic tools; Combilift  multidirectional side loaders; Darda concrete splitters; Dynapac road construction rollers, pavers and concrete equipment and  Flygt submersible pumps.

Included in the list are Hatz diesel engines and light gensets; Haulotte aerial work platforms and scissor lifts; Husqvarna portable power cutters and landscaping equipment; Liebherr tower cranes; La Roche bar bending and cutting machines; Phoenix Bitumen sprayers; Powercurbers curbing machines; Powerscreen mobile washing and screening plants; Stetter concrete batching plants and transit mixers and Thwaites construction site dumpers, among other agencies and products.

With a large support structure based at its head office in Al Ramoul, Dubai,  INMA has fully equipped Service Centre facilities and a Parts Depot from which all the equipment supplied to customers is attended to for after-sale support and spare parts needs.

To be closer to its wide clientele, INMA also has branch offices at Mussafah, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain with similar support facilities.

"Above all, the factory-trained and experienced manpower we have today is our core strength, and many clients who have been with us for several years clearly recognise this advantage with INMA," said the spokesman.

"In a market which is flooded with every possible known brand available, expert support from a local company is indeed a very major factor to be considered. In the very fast changing environment of today, technical expertise and back-up available locally is a major plus point for any company. And added to this large availability of ready stock of equipment for the very demanding industrial sector in the UAE today, is an unbeatable combination," summed up the spokesman.
