Global technology solutions and services provider 3i Infotech said it has successfully launched its office in Riyadh.

Through the Riyadh office, the company will now be able to provide extra impetus to the banking, financial services and insurance sector, it said, noting that Riyadh and Jeddah are the hubs of banking and financial institutions with all the leading banks headquartered there.
3i Infotech has doubled its revenues within three years in the kingdom. The company recently signed up with prestigious customers such as Al Fozan and the Zamil Group.
To help continue making rapid strides in Saudi Arabia, it has appointed Amit Trigunayat as the new head of operations - Saudi Arabia.
Pankaj Chawla, chief operating officer, 3i Infotech - Middle East, Africa, Russia and the CIS (Mearc), said the new office would help the company reach closer to its customers.
“Our on-the-ground presence in Riyadh will certainly provide huge comfort to banks, financial institutions, mutual funds and insurance companies, and also facilitate government projects in the region,” he said.
Chawla added, “Our offerings are making deeper inroads into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia market, and the business is on a fast-growth trajectory.”
The appointment of Trigunayat would help increase 3i Infotech’s focus on the BFSI, ERP and e-Governance segments, he said.
Trigunayat has 27 years of experience in the information technology and banking and financial services sectors. Prior to joining 3i Infotech, he worked for the National Technology Group (NTG), Saudi Arabia, as general manager and earlier he was associated with the IBM Business Partner, SMPL India, as technical director.
India-based 3i Infotech has more than 600 customers in the Mearc region.
