

AA Bin Hindi’s special projects division has stressed it makes available to its customers new systems and solutions from time to time.
An exibitor at Gulf Industry Fair, it recently introduced “new advanced technology using VLF (very low frequency), Tan Delta and PD (partial discharge) for accessing cable conditions and locating faults.”
The technology was introduced in co-ordination with its principal HV Diagnostics (Switzerland) as part of the division’s commitment to provide a high quality of after sales service to its customers.
“There was an informative seminar on this topic and live demonstrations were held at various end-user sites in Bahrain including those of the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) and major industries,” a statement from the division said.
The seminar was attended by delegates and technical experts from the EWA, Alba, Bapco, Bahrain Defense Force, HPC and GPIC, among other establishments. Several reputed electrical contractors in the region were present, it said
The statement said another seminar would be held on “advanced power cable condition monitoring system with VLF technology.”

These brands specialise in the fields of relays and systems, testing, measuring, and calibration equipment, process instruments, power quality, cables, transformer oil, filtration and regeneration services and related accessories.
It represents most of the above mentioned principals on an exclusive basis for the Middle East & North Africa (Mena) region.
“In order to meet quick delivery schedules in the Mena region, the division keeps a comprehensive stock of equipment and products at its Bahrain warehouse. It offers complete solutions to its clients including feasibility studies for the supply of solutions/services and performance monitoring,” the divisional statement said.
