Norbain Live has been showcasing a number of access control equipment at various venues in the UK.
The equipment includes Bewator’s Entro 5.3 system that offers a whole range of features that would have previously only been found on costly high-end products. Entro supports full integration with CCTV and DVR systems – for example, if the system detects a failed access attempt, it can initiate a CCTV camera to record images of the person and event. Alternatively one can configure it to automatically record images relating to any event, such as the use of a card or a keypad. A recording can also be triggered manually from supervisory PCs within the system.
Also on view is the HID EdgePlus Solo ES400, which is a cost effective, stand-alone, single-door IP access control solution. User information, administration, door configuration and retrieval of events are done through a user-friendly, instructional web environment via standard web browser. Providing “Intelligence at the Door,’’ the flexible EdgePlus Solo ES400 offers a wide choice of card reader compatibility.
