InnoVida Holdings, manufacturer of state-of-the-art composite materials for the construction industry, has evoked good response from the UAE following its launch in Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone last September.

The company has already been awarded projects, including a $60 million contract from Al-Kaheel Equine Management for building offices, demo rooms, staff house villas, labourers’ accommodation, show stages, horse stables and parts of the Al-Kaheel’s Equine Theme Park Dubai.
l-Kaheel offers 400 beautifully-built residences in a preserved desert landscape surrounding Dubailand’s Eco Zone. It has been described as a horse lover’s paradise and a place where the uninitiated can discover, interact and connect with horses. “Al-Kaheel will showcase the unique relationship between man and horse and deliver the ultimate equine experience to residents and guests, novice and seasoned equestrian alike,” the promoters say.
Commenting on the project, an InnoVida spokesman says: “Our InnoVida panels allow for the construction of houses, offices, shopping malls and warehouses, without a foundation, columns or a roof structure, or heavy equipment. Also, our materials can withstand 300 kph winds, are waterproof and non-flammable. Our proprietary bonding material InnoVidaBond allows for our panels to be fused together into a mono-block; yet they can be finished with any decorative materials as needed. Our panels have proven excellent insulation qualities, excellent sound insulation and a temperature variance of only three degrees C after six hours.”
InnoVida, a multinational corporation, with operations in the US, Germany, Middle East, Africa and Central and South America, has invested Dh40 million to establish its manufacturing plant at the free zone and plans to open three more factories in the UAE in the coming years. The RAK operations are named InnoVida RAK Emirates FZC (IRAK).
“InnoVida is dedicated to the design, development, manufacturing and installation in the global markets of cutting-edge and state-of-the-art technologies, materials and solutions in the construction industry,” the spokesman says.
Its sandwich panels are built utilising state-of the-art proprietary synthetic composite materials and industrial processes. The company has applied these new materials for the development of its own proprietary material InnoVidaResin used for manufacturing InnoVida panels and InnoVidaBond materials.
With InnoVidaResin the panels become a better alternative to traditional construction materials as they are stronger, (the panels can take a load of 1 tonne horizontally and five tonnes vertically) lighter and more flexible than cement, steel or bricks, according to the spokesman. Additionally, InnoVida’s panels’ PU insulation allows for better preservation of room temperature. The proprietary InnoVidaBond materials allow for the panels to be fused together thus making the buildings waterproof. InnoVida’s panels and technology can be used for construction of regular homes, buildings and warehouses as well as floating platforms for homes or offices. Construction is completed in a few days without requiring heavy equipment.
The company sells panels in three forms: uncut, cut and cut with InnoVidaBond materials.
InnoVida offers a water treatment system for each of its products. The package includes water filtration units with a closed-loop system for self-sufficiency in water supply, and systems that purify supply and wastewater up to drinking water quality.
This concept from InnoVida eliminates the need for a connection to a sewage treatment plant, since the wastewater from its units can be released into the environment without concern. With the closed-loop circulation system, the water stored in the foundation can be reused for a year or longer.
