Riyadh-based Raghadan Paints Factories has responded to the fast-growing demand for paint products in the current all-pervasive construction boom in the Middle East.
The company has successfully introduced a range of building finishes. It recently unveiled another range of decorative products with which it hopes to adorn palaces, apartments and commercial establishments.
The products for building finishes are being manufactured in a new line it recently opened. These include a tile and ceramics adhesive, grouts, ‘ready colour’ cement finishes, fillers for cracks and gyps and a coating it says will provide protection against the harsh climate and strengthen roofs.
The innovative decorative paints have been designed to impart special effects for a special environment the owner of the building would want.
The new paints are named Velvet to give a velvety feel, Atoshinto that has a pearly effect and Fresco that gives the illusion of waves.
Commenting on the range, a company spokesman says Velvet was created for use on interior surfaces to present “luxurious and warm interior walls.” He adds: “Using a combination of special effect additives, Velvet transforms plain walls into vibrant three-dimensional surfaces. It is available in an attractive range of shades.”
He described the Atoshinto range as a pearly compound that gives walls “a permanent aesthetic touch inspired by the beauty of precious stones.” Elaborating, he said: “It is distinguished by its high performance and diverse function and is available in various colours which are considered ideal for internal and external use.”
About Fresco, he observes: “Fresco is a decorative effect for walls. It is a versatile product that can be applied using a variety of tools to transform the plainest walls into attractive, warm finishes with varying degrees of depth. Fresco is easy to apply and allows the user to create innovative patterns and effects.”
The company is proud of its performance in the paints field and describes itself as a “pioneer in creating and introducing the latest patterns and techniques in the decorative paints fashion.”
The company was established in 1974 and has successfully developed ties in Saudi Arabia, the remainder of the Gulf states and the wider Arab world.
It is one of he largest Arab paint companies, having 13 factories and six paint firms located in the kingdom, the UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt and Britain.
Supporting the factories are 15 branches, 20 agents and more than 500 authorised distributors in the Arab world.
“Raghadan’s aim is to serve its customers wherever they may be and to meet their desires and requirements to the fullest satisfaction,” said Dr Hisham Ali, sales and marketing director.
The company has served the Saudi and greater Arab markets with the latest creative decorative paints, styles and techniques in coordination with leading internatio-nal paint companies such as Akzo Nobel of Europe, Kansai Paint Company of Japan, which is Japan’s largest and is ranked among the top 10 internationally, and Italy’s San Marco, leaders in creating and producing marble and special effects decorative paints.
Raghadan’s appeal lies in its wide portfolio of offerings that include enamel paints, primers and textures, industrial products, sealants and isolation items, NC and epoxy paints and wood coatings and varnishes as well as the latest decorative paints.
It also takes pride in serving “the best quality at competitive prices and providing the best service.”
With more than three decades in the paints business, it is no wonder the company has managed to forge strong links across the regional market. It has implemented projects for palaces, private villas, hotels and hospitals.
