It offers an easy-to-use operator environment that integrates CCTV and peripheral systems via its powerful touch-screen, event-driven image management software. Combined with a clear and concise operator screen layout, the product provides intuitive routes to all common or urgent functions. Its design simplifies the operator interface to complex systems, making them more useable and therefore more effective and allowing operators to maximise the performance of their CCTV systems.
The company’s top products include the Modular Digital Recording System (MDRS) and Time-Lapse Later technology designed specifically for major town and city centre applications, where picture quality is essential. This system reduces digital storage requirements and associated costs, without compromising on the quality of evidential video footage. Synectics also unveiled  its special products’ rugged marine and industrial environment Coex Tough-Dome camera. Manufact-ured in the UK from the highest-grade electro-polished stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance, the camera is designed to provide years of reliable and robust service within the most arduous of CCTV surveillance environments. Available as a colour, or colour/mono switchable (for day/night operation) model, the high-resolution unit supplies images with pin-sharp detail to complement today’s leading-edge digital recording technology.
Developed as a simple and cost-effective solution to suit difficult surveillance monitoring environments, the Synectics ToughDome camera is a fully functional (pan, tilt and zoom) integrated camera dome system, supplied within a single sealed enclosure. Its 360 degrees pan rotation (with continuous pan as an option), together with a patented ‘hyperbolic’ tilt action and wash/wipe options, provide CCTV system operators with a fast and responsive camera surveillance tool.
