Aujan Soft Drinks Industries (ASDI), a subsidiary of Aujan Industries Company, has just launched a 1.5 litre aseptic PET bottle supplied by Tetra Pak PET Saudi Arabia, for its Rani apple and mango juice products.

Designed to provide the family with enhanced convenience, the package is unique in presentation, with an extra-wide 38mm neck to provide easier pouring - and the special ergonomically designed package incorporates a 'pinch grip' for smaller hands, says Adel Aujan, group managing director.

"We are the first beverage producer to introduce the aseptic PET in Saudi Arabia - and we are getting a very good response following the recent launch and nationwide distribution," he says.

The aseptic PET line incorporates a Tetra Plast RFA-40 rotary filler and one of Tetra Pak's X-6 model bottle stretch blow moulding machines.
