UAE firm Coffee Planet LLC says the country is entering a new era in coffee consumption following its signing up as the exclusive distributor for the world’s leading automated espresso machine Acorto.
It opens the self-serve gourmet coffee sector to a totally new audience within and outside the catering industry, it said.
“Finally there is a dependable automated coffee machine in the UAE. For many years the industry has been put off automatic coffee due to unreliable products. The Acorto machines can serve up to 120 perfect Cappuccinos, Lattes or Espressos per hour using freshly ground beans and only fresh milk, making them the best machine on the market ideally suited to high-volume banqueting, breakfast and busy coffee shop operations.
“In addition to distribution of the Acorto machines, we are also introducing Coffee Planet self-serve kiosks which can be installed into an unlimited variety of foodservice operations such as hotels, coffee shops, convenience stores, hospitals, offices, airports and universities,” said Smith.

Acorto’s popularity derives from its revolutionary approach to the specialty coffee market which broke new ground by incorporating the milk-steaming process with coffee bean grinding and brewing into a single machine.
