Al-Futtaim Auto Machinery Company (Famco), the sole distributor for Volvo Construction Equipment in the UAE, has been invited to provide a further supply of Volvo backhoe loaders, graders, hydraulic excavators and wheel loaders for the prestigious Dubai Festival City development taking place on the banks of Dubai Creek.

The Volvo construction equipment is in addition to the equipment already chosen by Al-Futtaim Carillion for the initial stages of the project.
Volvo Construction Equipment has also been selected for high-ranking projects such as Dubai Marina and Emirates Hills, as well as the world-famous Palm Island Jebel Ali.  “Volvo is popular in the region not only for it technical performance, but also for the after-sales support given by Famco’s three branches, in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain,” a company spokesman said.
