Power generation customers in the UAE will benefit with the opening of Aksa Power Generation’s office and distribution centre in Dubai.
Aksa Middle East, part of Kazanci Holding Group of Turkey, has been tasked with dealer development and sales and after-sales support for Aksa products in the GCC states, Yemen and East Africa while also providing logistic assistance to Iran and Iraq.
The company’s distribution centre has been set up in a large warehouse in the Jebel Ali Free Zone from where its clients’ orders can be met quickly and efficiently. The distribution centre has in stock diesel generators ranging from 10 kVA - 500 kVA, powered by Lister Petter, John Deere and Cummins engines and coupled with Newage Stamford/Mecc alte alternators.
“Aksa will continue to uphold its policy of producing products of the highest quality with the help of a dynamic experienced team in order to remain the market leader,” said Aksa ME sales manager B Menon.
Established within the Kazanci Holding Group in 1983, Aksa Power Generation has become one of the world’s largest groups specialised in the manufacture of machinery and equipment for power generation for the past 20 years.
Aksa has been manufacturing a whole range of generating sets since 1984. It has two manufacturing plants in Turkey and one in the United Kingdom. Aksa generating sets have a proven track record in all tropical conditions with sets operating worldwide. Aksa’s production range includes gasoline portable gensets of 2.2 kVA - 10 kVA; industrial diesel generators of 8 kVA - 2,200 kVA; natural gas generators of 10 kW - 3,200 kW (including CHP units); marine auxiliary gensets; mobile flood light towers and custom-built generators for the rental fleet as well as all kinds of generator accessories such as sound attenuated enclosures/containers, generator control panels, automatic load transfer panels, synchronizing panels and trailers.
Internationally proven engines and alternators used in Aksa’s production range include Cummins, John Deere, Lister Peter, and Perkins.
These engines are coupled with either Newage Stamford or Mecc alte alternators. In addition to the well-equipped assembly lines and testing facilities in its factories, Aksa also has fully automatic sheet metal manufacturing and painting centres.
For more than 15 years, the company has been the market leader in generating sets for the whole of Turkey. During the past five years, the company’s activities have been expanded. Its operations now include the installation of several major power stations generating many megawatts of high voltage electricity for the National Grid.
Other activities of the company are:
• Service support for Aksa products (genset, forklift, air-conditioning units).
• Spare parts distribution. Spare parts for engines, alternators, and controls are mostly available from stock.
• Service contracts with customers.
• Turnkey projects.
• Generating sets for rental.
• Training support for the authorised service dealers.
The rental fleet includes sound attenuated gensets from 5 kVA up to 2,000 kVA. Based on customer requirements, full rental services (operator, fuel included) are available at any time. Aksa has a very effective worldwide marketing, sales, and after-sales support organisation. In Turkey alone, there are 16 main dealers known as Aksa Power Centres, whilst outside Turkey the company’s dealer network spreads through many countries.
Currently, Aksa has its international branch officers and distribution centres in the UAE, Iraq, Iran, Singapore, China, the UK, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Nigeria, Algeria and Vietnam, all of whom give full sales and services support to its dealers and customers.
