Officials signing the MoU

In line with its commitment to continuously expand strategic partnerships, Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance PSC.

Eng Ali AlSuwaidi, Director General of AFZ, and Abdulla Al Nuaimi, CEO of Dubai Insurance and Reinsurance, inked the agreement in a ceremony attended by several officials from both sides.

The MoU reflects the free zone’s approach to grow its offered value-added solutions and build a unified platform for investors and companies to have easy access to various service providers. Through this platform, investors and businesses in the free zone can quickly apply for licensing, visa, insurance, and many others at more competitive rates. AFZ has already established a network of partnerships from the government and private sectors to make these services available to its business community.

Eng Ali AlSuwaidi said that the latest MoU focuses on offering comprehensive insurance solutions, which are an essential part of human resources functions and the operations of any business establishment. Al Suwaidi explained that the agreement is a testament to the AFZ’s resolve to provide its business partners with the needed support to help them comply with the regulations and enable them to focus on their growth and expansion plans.

“Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance is a prominent player in its sector. Our MoU is the latest in our string of partnerships forged to raise the competitiveness of our services and attract more companies to AFZ and Ajman,” said AlSuwaidi.
