Duzhnikov
As part of its efforts to bolster support for its retailers in the GCC, French automaker Peugeot has appointed Yury Duzhnikov as its new Head of Sales for Peugeot Passenger Vehicles in the GCC, while Hesham Amer will focus on the business-to-business channel as Head of Fleet and Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales.
Peugeot has several exciting new models expected to debut in the region over the coming 12 months, including the compact SUV, the 2008 as well as the sporty 508 GT with 220hp output to get the thrill-seekers’ pulses racing. The automaker also continues to optimise its driver experience offering with features such as i-Cockpit. This system immerses customers into a digital world through a customisable and configurable head-up digital display, compact steering wheel with integrated controls and an electric automatic gearbox.
Rakesh Nair, Managing Director at Groupe PSA in the GCC, commented: “As Peugeot continues its growth in the region, our main focus is to ensure we meet the ever-changing demands of our customers. With these appointments and a refreshed SUV line-up in 2021, Peugeot can now focus on passenger vehicles, along with showroom experience.”
