Caparol Paints launched a choice of high-quality Stone Paints at the Interiors Expo, held last month in Bahrain.
The line is available in four options which range from smooth to rough. These green engineered paint products are water and dust-resistant, Murtadha Qambar, executive director, told Gulf Industry on the sidelines of the Expo.
“This is our first time at Interiors Expo, which is the biggest show for the construction and interiors sector. We are here to promote Caparol, the Number One German paint manufacturer; it is approved by many authorities in the region,” Qambar pointed out.
Caparol Paints has a manufacturing facility in Dubai, UAE, which serves the Gulf region.
In Bahrain, the company has a showroom in Salmabad and, as part of its expansion plans, Caparol intends to open other showrooms in the country to promote the brand. The company has also established ties with a number of large companies in Bahrain and its products have been used on several projects including Durrat Al Bahrain and a number of mosques.
Caparol Paints offers a diverse portfolio of products which includes thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS), ‘green’ paints, flooring coatings (Disbon) and decorative paints. The Disbon range, available in a choice of colours and textures, offers reliable protection and repair of concrete floors.
Among its popular products, particularly for the hospital and other hygiene-sensitive applications, is Clear Star, a low-volatile organic compounds (VOC) coating, which offers anti-bacterial and anti-carbonation protection, with the gloss range being stain resistant.
Caparol Paints is part of the Deutsche Amphibolin-Werke SE group in Germany. It is the leader in the field of building paints in Germany, and the brand with the well-known striped-elephant signet is amongst the Europe’s largest enterprises in the field.
