AFI showcases industrial solutions

Officials at the opening of the exhibition

Alaa For Industy (AFI), a leading industrial supplies company in the Middle East, in collaboration with Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Company (Yasref) recently showcased its product range and capabilities at an exclusive event in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.

The three-day event, held from July 29 to 31, 2018 in Yasref Admin Building, Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, was inaugurated by Yasref president and CEO Abdallah Al Subaiyyal along with AFI executive director Youseff Ibrahim Al Rashoodi and AFI CEO Mamoun MS Abdul Kareem.

AFI’s sister companies Alaa International Contracting Company (AICCO) and AFI Technologies are currently executing many projects in Yasref.

AFI as a subsidiary of IAR Holding and Partners Company along with other subsidiaries including AFI Chemicals and AFI Technologies displayed a variety of products which included: hydraulics, pneumatics, transportation, power transmission, lifting equipment, rubber & seals, chemicals, IP, and security cameras. The event was participated and attended by a large number of people within Yasref and Royal Commission of Yanbu.

“The event was successful as it gave us a big opportunity to showcase AFI products and capabilities. Additionally, the event was well received by Yasref CEO and employees, as they were given the chance to learn and understand more about our global strategic partners such as Enerpac, SKF and Parker,” said Matio P Morales, marketing communication manager, AFI.

“The global expertise combined with our local knowledge makes AFI the unique solution for our industrial customers,” he added.

The event, which concluded successfully, was organised by AFI’s marketing team, headed by AFI’s marketing manager Saad Al Waheb, Morales and Aicco operations manager Abdul Rhman Khader.

Earlier, the AFI Yanbu team headed by Javad Ur Rahman along with AFI Technologies, AFI Chemicals and AFI Rubber representatives received visitors and explained the technical specifications of products. The session was interactive as visitors asked technical questions about products and technologies, which were duly answered by the AFI team in detail.

“We are hoping that this initiative will further increase our business relationship with Yasref,” Morales said.
