Relationship Management (XeRM) e-business suite designed to facilitate operations of the medical sector ranging from small private physician practices to large hospitals and pharmaceutical companies.
"Availability of accurate information at the earliest possible time is crucial to the medical industry. The availability of correct patient information, clear internal physician and staff workflow processes, and customer service can often mean a question of life or death for patients," said Meghna Rao, CEO Vertscape.
"We felt that it was important to leverage the benefits of Web Services technology to develop a solution that would give patients and healthcare providers the ability to collaborate and access relevant information for self care, diagnostic, or customer service requirements round-the-clock without regard to physical location."
Vertscape's XeRM e-business suite for the medical sector comprises modular Web Services that include interactive selling of medical products, equipment, and services; materials and supplies requisition management; patient information management; patient self care and help desk; internal administration and workflow approvals, customer service management, appointment scheduling and reminders, insurance claims management and information/data reports.
The company said that several private physician practices had already begun to adopt the XeRM patient management capabilities for online information display of all services and facilities offered at the centre.
An interactive interface allows clients and patients to get instant replies to their medical enquiries and an online appointment book enables both patients and doctors to fix appointments and enter initial histories so that the doctors can be better prepared to meet their patients. Patients can also access, retrieve or download their full medical case histories, diagnosis or prescriptions with the highest levels of security.
"The medical suite from Vertscape has meant greater levels of efficiency and better time management at the clinic," said Dr. Yousef Mohammed Abdulrazzaq, the founder and paediatrics consultant at Al Jinan Medical Centre."
