
Call Group International, an Abu Dhabi-based company providing value-added telecommunications services to customers throughout the Middle East, has announced it has chosen Comtrust, to provide a wide range of services for the launch of its new interactive multi media website
Comtrust, the e-business unit of Etisalat and provider of Public Key Infrastructure-based certification services, will host the new Call Group International site, provide on-line payment services through its Store Payment Interface (SPI) product and also provide server certificates.
Call Group International, established in early 1999, has operations in all Gulf states. The company offers a wide range of entertainment and professional services through fixed lines, mobiles and SMS.
Call Group International regional commercial manager, Ammar Sharaf said Comtrust was selected as the company wanted a one-stop shop offering for secured access, payment systems and hosting of their application and services.
Omran Sultan Al Owais, general manager of Comtrust, said e-commerce solutions from Comtrust offered not only businesses but also governments and consumers a cost effective and convenient method of conducting transactions.
"This is important because e-commerce is more than just about transactions, it's also about helping businesses to mass customise their offerings in order to improve, improvise and build customer loyalty - a key element of any local organisation wishing to go global, increasing market reach and revenues," Al Owais said.
