Tech Data FZ-LLC, the information technology distribution and logistics management company, has launched a web commerce model, the 'TD Anywhere Search' system, which provides immediate personalised product listings and prices to resellers across the region.

"Since resellers' communications costs are a major financial hurdle on the channel, Tech Data has adopted this model as a way of reducing its channel's expenses dramatically," the company said. Earlier, Tech Data Middle East announced a 35 per cent growth for the first half of this year.

The company has a new distribution hub in Bahrain which it says has very successfully contributed to the company's growth by providing timely and cheap delivery to resellers in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and the KSA. Tech Data consolidated its warehousing facilities in the UAE and enlarged its fleet to diminish costs and ensure very fast delivery across the Emirates.
