GLOBAL engineering group Cavotec’s participation in this year’s edition of the Dubai Airport Show was highlighted by the unveiling of a pioneering solution called the E3 gate concept (ergonomics, economy, environment).
Cavotec worked closely with customers and industry bodies to develop a fully-integrated gate concept that was energy-efficient, reduced fuel costs, and minimised the use of auxiliary power units. The concept improved operational efficiency by providing ground services via underground pits. A presentation for the Cavotec E3 Gate concept was delivered.
Juergen Strommer, managing director, Cavotec Middle East, said, “The groundbreaking gate concept is a solid product of Cavotec’s organic consultancy approach to our customers, where we carefully tailor our solutions to fulfil the unique requirements of each individual project - a distinctive business model which is highly respected and valued by customers.”
Cavotec has developed pioneering power transmission, distribution and control technologies that form a link between fixed and mobile equipment in the sectors of ports and maritime, airports, mining and tunnelling and general industry.
