UK-based Morgan Advanced Materials, a world leader in advanced materials technology, will set up a new fibre manufacturing plant, with a capacity of 5,000 tonnes in Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad), UAE.
The new plant is a part of its expansion strategy to cater to growing demand and opportunities from the Middle East region where it has a strong customer base, said the company.
“The Middle East is among the fastest growing regions in the world, offering numerous growth opportunities which we are keen to tap into. The new plant will be our first in the region and is expected to come up by the end of this year,” said Winston Suresh, general manager for Middle East at Morgan Advanced Materials, a key participant of Aluminium Middle East 2015 exhibition which opened in Dubai Tuesday.
The three-day biennial exhibition, organised by Reed Exhibitions Middle East, has attracted over 200 exhibitors from 30 countries.
