The Solar PV & Energy Storage World Expo 2026 (PV Guangzhou) is set to bring together leading global players from the renewable energy sector when it returns to Guangzhou from September 16 to 18, 2026, with a stronger focus on energy storage technologies and integrated clean energy solutions.

The three-day event, to be held at Area B of the China Import & Export Fair Complex, is expected to host more than 2,000 exhibitors across 180,000 sq m of exhibition space, making it one of the largest industry gatherings dedicated to solar photovoltaic and energy storage technologies.

Organisers said the exhibition will offer comprehensive coverage of the entire solar and energy storage value chain, providing buyers, project developers, EPC contractors, distributors and investors with a one-stop sourcing platform for the latest products, technologies and services.

Building on more than a decade of experience in organising international photovoltaic trade fairs, PV Guangzhou 2026 will place greater emphasis on energy storage solutions as global demand for renewable energy integration, grid stability and energy security continues to grow.

The event is expected to feature a strong line-up of leading manufacturers and technology providers, including AIKO Solar, Astronergy, Canadian Solar, Chint Solar, DAH Solar, DAS Solar, GoodWe, Growatt, JA Solar, Jinko, Leapton, Seraphim, SMA Solar, Solplanet, Sungrow, Tongwei Solar and Trina Solar, among others.

According to the organisers, the exhibition has established itself as a preferred sourcing destination for international buyers, with industry groups and trade delegations returning year after year. The Moldova-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry has organised buyer delegations to the event for three consecutive years, while a Korean energy storage buyers group has attended for five years running. Malaysian EPC alliances have also relied on the exhibition for more than eight years to source technologies and solutions for renewable energy projects.

The expo's international reach continues to expand, attracting visitors from across six continents. Overseas attendees at the 2025 edition came primarily from Asia, Europe, Africa, North America, South America and Oceania, reflecting the event's growing importance as a global marketplace for renewable energy technologies.

Organisers said several initiatives are being implemented to enhance business outcomes for participants, including targeted buyer-supplier matchmaking, detailed demand analysis, collaboration with international industry associations and the promotion of advanced, high-efficiency technologies.

"The focus is not only on scale, but also on professional specialisation and meaningful business connections," the organisers said, noting that exhibitors will be encouraged to launch innovative products and solutions that address the evolving needs of the global energy transition.

Located in Guangzhou, a major commercial hub within China's Greater Bay Area, the exhibition also benefits from access to an extensive network of regional traders and sourcing specialists serving international markets.

Registration for PV Guangzhou 2026 is now open (https://www.pvguangzhou.com/p.php?i=4), with organisers inviting renewable energy professionals worldwide to secure their participation and plan sourcing visits in advance.
