The Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO) has been awarded a three-year contract worth SAR241.47 million ($64.39 million) by the Al Madinah Region Development Authority. 

The project scope entails operating and providing public bus transportation services throughout the holy city of Al Madinah Al Munawarah.

This award aligns closely with the Kingdom's broader Vision 2030 initiatives, which focus on upgrading urban mobility and expanding the public transport infrastructure to support the millions of yearly visitors to the holy sites.
