Tatarunis with the Alba top brass
Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), the world’s largest aluminium smelter on one site, has announced the appointment of Artem Tatarunis as the new Manager for Alba Sales Europe, effective immediately.
Tatarunis brings over 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the aluminium industry. His most recent role was Head of Sales (Billet and Wire Rod) EMEA region at UC Rusal, where he led a sales unit generating over $1.2 billion of revenue annually. Tatarunis has held various positions within UC Rusal, including Global Product Sales Director (Billet) and Head of Sales Remelt Ingot.

His extensive experience in the aluminium industry, particularly his success in generating over $1.2 billion of revenue per annum in his previous role, aligns well with our strategic vision for expanding our European presence.”
Diverse sales experience
Alba’s Chief Marketing Officer Hisham Al Kooheji stated: “Artem's international experience and his understanding of the EMEA market will be invaluable as we navigate the complexities of the European aluminium market and seek to capitalise on emerging opportunities. Tatarunis holds a Master of Economics in Financial Accounting from the Russian State Academy of Economics, Russia and a Master of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication (Vietnamese and English) from the Moscow Institute of Foreign Languages, Russia.--TradeArabia News Service
