Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), one of the world’s largest aluminium smelters, has won the Brandon Hall Group Silver Award for Excellence 2023 for the fourth time in recognition of its training and development initiatives.
The award was in recognition of Alba’s Training & Development Programme (TDP) under the Best Development Programme for Frontline Leaders’ Category, said a statement.
Alba previously won Brandon Hall Group awards in 2016, 2018 and in 2021.
The TDP is one of Alba’s major and long-running initiatives that aim at boosting Bahrainisation by raising the professional calibre of its Bahraini employees through education and skills training, thus enabling them to take positions in supervisory ranks and above.
