One of United Kingdom’s top home appliances majors in Europe, Baumatic, made a foray into the regional market by signing an exclusive agreement with the UAE’s Mohamed Hareb Al Otaiba Group (MHAO), to introduce and develop its wide range of products under the Baumatic brand.

Enzo Balestrazzi, chairman of Baumatic, and MHAO Chairman, Mohamed Hareb Al Otaiba, inked the deal along the sidelines of ISH Kitchen and Bathroom Gulf exhibition where Baumatic and MHAO had a presence.
Al Otaiba said: “We are actively involved in the supply, installation, commissioning and after-sales service of major projects in domestic kitchens and supply equipment to the fast growing hotel business in the country.
“Through this deal with Baumatic we will introduce their wide range of products to the UAE market and provide a combination of design and functionality like no other product. We are confident that the parity between quality and price will turn most admirers into customers.”
Balestrazzi observed, “We have been studying and evaluating the potential of the Arabian Gulf states and the estimated outlay for residential, tourism and shopping mall projects in the UAE over the next five years is in the vicinity of $100 billion which presents a tremendous opportunity for Baumatic.
“MHAO is a dynamic, forward-thinking business group that is responsive to its customers, responsible for its acts, creative in its pursuits and a market leader in the region in the kitchen and domestic appliances division.”
MHAO will roll out the Baumatic range including ovens, cooking hobs, cookers, cooking hoods, integrated and freestanding refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines, kitchen sinks and taps and accessories.
“This is a significant step forward for MHAO as we further strengthen our position in the supply chain as a customer-centric organisation and we pride ourselves on providing the widest range of domestic appliances offering the best fit for our customers,” said MHAO CEO, Sunil Prabhakaran.
