Bahrain’s Asry, the leading ship and rig repair yard in the Arabian Gulf, signed a major services agreement with UK-based Relay Engineering Limited, which requires the latter to offer its expertise in electrical, mechanical and constructive engineering directly to Asry’s customers from a dedicated service point in the yard.
BAE System has announced it will invest more than £100 million ($154.91 million) for expanding two British shipyards in Glasgow, Scotland – the Govan and Scotstoun, the BBC reported.

Drydocks World’s Dubai shipyard has announced it has secured a contract from Orwell Offshore to fabricate an external turret for FPSO Layang. Completion time for the project is Q1 2016. The yard recalled it has successfully delivered similar external turrets for FPSOs and FSRUs.
