EDWARDS has launched its range of single stage oil sealed rotary vane pumps fit for use in a wide range of industrial applications, including heat treatment and coating.

The new ES pumps from Edwards provide highly stable vacuum performance. Thanks to the optimised oil return system, there are none of the pressure fluctuations that are often seen in single-stage pumps, thereby improving product quality and giving consistent process results.

The pump mechanism on the new ES pump has been refined to produce a better quality of vacuum; the pumping speed is maintained even at lower pressure, extending the operating pressure range, said a statement from the UK company.

The new range has been developed to run cooler and have a longer oil lifetime than other comparable oil sealed vacuum pumps, bringing down the cost of ownership. The in-built oil mist filter ensures minimal oil emission, making the ES environmentally friendly, it stated.

The ES also has the added benefit of running more quietly than most comparable single stage rotary vane pumps.

For convenience and ease of integration, the ES pump features in-built ISO and BSP connections; it is simple to maintain with easy oil and filter changes and can be serviced on site by the user, bringing higher productivity.

Megha Ajmal, product manager at Edwards, said: “We are proud to be introducing the ES pump range ... Suitable for a wide range of industrial applications and coupled with our robust EH mechanical boosters, it can provide customised solutions to a variety of processes.”
